It is so important for you to have a digital copy of your images! In today’s world of homemade slideshows, digital frames, and organizing your memories on your computer, digital images just make sense. Many, many photographers include a disc of photos with their packages, but not all digital images are the same. It’s extremely important for you to be aware of what you’re getting!

On your disc of pictures, you’ll never, ever see an unedited photo. My first step in preparing your photos is to make sure the exposure and color are correct. Sometimes the corrections are minor – especially if I’m able to photograph your child in natural light! Other times, the corrections are more extensive – situations with unpredictable or difficult lighting such as births, indoor sessions, baptisms, and similar events are good examples.

Once the originals have been corrected, they become digital negatives – the photos included on your disc! Digital negatives are full size and printable, which means that every photo you receive can be printed and look great.

After I finish editing your pictures, I go back through and choose the 10+ images that I feel best represent the session. Those photos get some extra attention like blemish removal and/or more artistic editing. Not only do I include those extra edits on your disc of images, but I make sure to fully edit any prints that you order though me!
